So.. I've had multiple indications recently that people besides myself are actually interested in the progress of my novel. You should have pestered me earlier, folks, maybe then I would have plugged at it harder! Actually, no. I'm a slacker by nature, it probably wouldn't have changed much.But, since so many people are interested, here's what I can tell you - I'm not likely to hit 50K by the end of this month, but I do plan on getting to the end of the story in whatever form (about 3k words at this point are pure outline, not prose). And then, I do plan to go back and finish the book, after changing all names to remove any sort of direct mytho/historical reference. THEN I'll show it to you. At the moment, I'm this close to biting my nails (used to be a compulsive biter - have managed to stay clean the past 4 weeks and I don't intend on breaking that record) thinking about the number of torch-wielding fanatics that are quite likely to stalk me if the story in its current form becomes public.
Call me a coward and a slacker, but that's just how I roll.
