I've barely written enough words in 12 days now to cover day one and half of day two. I'm taking advantage of the fact that it's saturday night.
Playing : Wagner.
EDIT: 2500 words since I blogged last, also got #nanowordsprints flashback challenge worked into my #1k1hr sprint. Methinks I'll take a break for tonight and hang out at coffee noir tomorrow.
On an interesting note, my plot is starting to come together in surprising ways.. there were some things I had figured out in general - since this is about a myth we already know, i.e. harishchandra has to leave his kingdom at some point, I thought the existing stories didn't really explain things very well. Why did he vow to speak nothing but the truth? I don't like that he gave away his kingdom because of someone else's dream, and I don't like that the gods decided to play with him and his life - I'm willing to include a little bit of the supernatural, or what looks like the supernatural, but I want an explanation I can identify with more. That stuff kind of fell into place tonight (and yes, that was the flashback).
Also, muchos gracias to the boys, who put up with me all evening and brought me food and entertainment.
